round cushions // flower heads

I’ve loved making another batch of round, comfy cushions again this week. I first made them about two years ago now, + at this time of year I always enjoy sitting on one outside my shedspace with a brew. The metal garden chairs aren’t very bottom comfortable, so these plump cushions are just right. I imagine them being a bit like a tuffet, but without the legs.

The two designs are inspired by the summer-flowering Astrantia flower (in pink) + the African daisy (in green)

Both flower heads, which feature on the front of the cushions, have been block printed onto natural cotton + I’ve also screen printed the sides + cushion backs in my ‘Mimosa’ design in a paler colourway to add extra interest + print!
